Love
As that dreaded holiday has passed, I have spent time in contemplation on love particularly since I have spent another year alone. As I contemplated all the love possible that could come to me, I came to a stark realization. I don't really require constant companion ship from a woman. Now don't get me wrong, I do enjoy the friendship and companionship of others, particularly women. But especially now, in this modern stage of life it seems, from my young perspective, that just that type of love is always "needed" to be a well functioning human being. I would simply like to say that this is completely false. Yo all of my young friends out there, don't tie yourself down with one person. Go out, have fun, live life, find and be yourself. Because soon enough, when the time is right, you will lose whatever part of yourself that exists, in a relationship can and will disappear.

Inyan Icantewaste
What's in a name?
If you stop and think about it, a name says alot about you. It can display your royalty or rank, or show the truth of your character. It can, and often does, define who we are as people.
In retrospect, I wonder how my name has affected me? I hope in all that i have done thus far that I am living up to everything that is represented in my name. i hope that others in this world can live up to everything their name represents. Represents, that's the word. Remember that with every breath we take, every choice we make, we are representing so many things in this world.
I account to an interesting event in my life. When I was about the age of 15, I was given a Native American name. That name is Inyan Icantewaste. It is a Sioux word that Translates to "Happy Rock". Granted, it's not something like sitting bull, but to me it means alot.
Like the name I was born with and with all the honorary titles I have been given, I, too, try to live to those names; and even then, make those name mean something to everyone else.

When Hope Fails
Today i relearned an old lesson over again. As yet today i received another thanks but no thanks... response to something as simple as a job application. Now, some of you out there may think that fretting over something as small as a job is ridiculous, but when it is the 3rd or 4th one in a row, well, a person can lose hope in humanity. My point today is this, never give up.
It's a very simple lesson, but a true one at that. Who knows what is waiting for us all at the end of the trail? All I know is that we cannot know if we do not try.
Hope will always be there for those who keep going.

A New Chapter
To all of the world:
In my short years of existance, I have seen and experienced alot of things. I have tasted the joys of reaching lofty mountain summits and seen the stars in their great splendor. All of this I havce experienced. I do hope that this blog can be a sort of guide book to all the lost souls of the earth. maybe even then, I might help shed light on the issues of today and even then help bring comfort to the weary souls.
In short, not all who wander are lost.
